No matter how brilliant your film might be, not adhering to the rules will lessen your chances of winning. There are a couple of things to note in this years event. Now, each teams energy, while in Kane County, can now be spent with more focus on production. It’s our hope to provide participants greater opportunity to capture the awe inspiring scenery and landscapes found in Kane County. Additionally, editing time has been extended to allow film makers a chance to do what they do best. Make great films. Participants must be present on March 13, to enter the contest and most of the filming must take place in Kane County at revealed locations. Editing and post production can take place in the participants desired location. Film submission deadlines are due on April 3, and can be submitted either in person or online. There will be a public screening of all the submitted films and following the film screenings the winners in each categories will be announced. All participants are strongly encouraged to attend the screening. ...
